You mount a physical checkpoint where the work is done. The token runs on a battery, with no internet and no mains power.

They type the code from the display into their phone browser. No app install. The code rotates every 30 seconds and works once.

What matters in this industry

What the system does not do: it does not track the employee's route by GPS and it does not confirm that a job was done correctly. It confirms that a specific checkpoint was used by a specific employee at a specific time. Task notes and comments are a separate documentation layer.

Questions about this industry
Will the token survive in a chamber or a well?
The token is an autonomous battery device with no cabling and no network connection. Mount it in a spot protected from water and direct mechanical impact.
What if there is no coverage on site?
The token needs no internet. The confirmation needs internet on the employee's phone at the moment the code is sent — in practice it is entered once back in coverage, and the event time is preserved.
Will the system show the crew's driving route?
No. RCP Token does not track routes. It shows confirmations at specific checkpoints together with the time.
